Say NO to Bottled H2O!

April 9, 2013

We are excited to invite you to a special forum that we are co-sponsoring with George Mason University and others:

Say NO to Bottled H2O!
A Special Public Forum
Monday, April 15, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
George Mason University’s Arlington Campus
Founders Hall Auditorium
3351 Fairfax Drive, Arlington

George Mason University’s Arlington campus will host a special public forum to discuss the environmental and economic implications of single-use plastic water bottles.

View the award-winning documentary, “Bag It,” then hear from a panel of experts and take part in the discussion on why our environment and pocketbooks will benefit from kicking the single-use bottled water habit. Panelists will represent the Washington Aqueduct, Arlington County and The Nature Conservancy. The panel moderator will be Jay Fisette, Vice Chair, Arlington County Board.

Pre-event materials will be distributed at 6:30 p.m.

Take the pledge:
“I choose to drink tap water instead of purchasing single-use plastic water bottles.”

This event is free and open to the community.
