Tree Care Resources

April 28, 2014

Concerned about your trees storms?

While well executed pruning can reduce the risk of storm damage, poorly executed pruning can elevate the risk. The pruning of medium to large trees is best left to qualified arborists who are trained to evaluate the need and apply treatment.

For a list of ISA certified arborists in this area: www.goodtreecare.com and look for the “Find an Arborist” tab.

Many thanks to our friends at the Arlington County Department of Environmental Services for this great information!

Did you know that free trees are available through Arlington County. Learn more about the Tree Canopy Fund and how you can increase the tree canopy in your own yard or neighborhood.
