Update February 18, 2026
Thanks to everyone who joined the EcoAction Arlington Rooted In Our Community luncheon Thursday, February 12 at Busboys and Poets in Shirlington to celebrate our work to address tree inequity in Arlington County. We were thrilled to bring together our partners, supporters and volunteers to showcase the trees planted in our 13 equity neighborhoods. Thanks to County Board leaders Julius D. “JD” Spain, Sr., Matt de Ferranti, Susan Cunningham, Maureen Coffey, and Takis Karantonis for attending our celebration. We look forward to the ongoing work needed to improve tree canopy for every zip code in Arlington County.
Thanks to a generous donor, we have a matching gift challenge in place through March 4 to support this critical work. All donations received (up to $750) will be doubled! This opportunity is only available for a limited time! Please contribute before midnight March 4 and your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $750. Your gift today will help grow Arlington’s tree canopy where it is needed most.

Please join EcoAction Arlington for an intimate luncheon to celebrate our first three years increasing tree canopy in Arlington in 13 target neighborhoods and our goal to make green spaces accessible to every community member, regardless of where they live. This event will bring together partners, supporters, and community leaders to champion and enhance our tree planting and community engagement efforts.
Tickets are $50 with early bird pricing of $40 available through 1/27. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Tuesday 2/10.
