Although many fall leaves are still clinging to trees, we are already thinking about spring and our 5th annual Green Living Expo, which is being held in partnership with George Mason University’s Earth Week Community Fair on Saturday, April 26, 2014, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Good Green Fun
Save the date and plan to join us at the Expo to learn about practical ways to green your lifestyle, with a focus on:
- Energy conservation
- Sustainable food
- Solid waste reduction
- Eco-friendly transportation
- Green home remodeling
- Sustainable landscaping, and
- Healthy homes
The Expo is good green fun for the whole community!
How can you get involved?
EcoAction Arlington is seeking volunteers to join the Green Living Expo planning committee. This committee organizes sponsors, vendors, food, entertainment, and communications/publicity for this annual event.’ We’ll be hosting’ the 2014 Green Living Expo kickoff meeting on Wednesday, November 20th, 6:30 p.m to 8:00 p.m at Mason Founders Hall Room 121, 3351 Fairfax Drive, Arlington and we invite you to join us.
If you have expertise in event planning and logistics, marketing and publicity, community relations or anything else that would help with developing a fun, engaging, and successful community event, we’d love to hear from you. If you are interested in participating but are unable to join us at the first meeting, please get in touch.
