Green Home and Garden Tour – Sunday, June 7

Join us at the Green Home and Garden Tour on Sunday, June 7th

The tour will include a mixture of new green homes, green renovations, and watershed-friendly gardens from Arlington County’s’ Green Home Choice‘ and’ StormwaterWise Landscapes‘ programs.Green Home and Garden Tour 2014

Join us to …

  • Tour local green homes and environmentally-friendly gardens.
  • Talk with local residents about their experiences greening their homes and making their yards more watershed-friendly.
  • Pick up resources with ideas for your own yard and home.

  • Water-saving technologies

  • Rain barrels

Two Ways to Participate …

  1. Self-Guided Option‘ (suggested donation $5
    Enjoy each garden at your own pace.’ Donate now‘ or donate by cash or check at the first site you visit.P6052216
  2. Guided Cycling Option’ (suggested donation $10)
    Led by’ Bike Arlington, ride as a group from stop-to-stop, starting at the I-66 parking garage next to Washington-Lee High School located at N. Quincy Street and 15th Street N. in Arlington. Participants will meet at’ 12:45 p.m.and the tour will start at’ 1:00 p.m.‘ The group will return to the starting location by’ 5:00 p.m.‘ Reserve your spot today.
