Letters & Positions

EcoAction Arlington engages in public discussion and promotes civic engagement among its members to influence government action in support of its mission to create a sustainable community by improving our natural environment, encouraging environmentally-friendly behaviors, ensuring environmental justice, and addressing the climate crisis. Local, state, and federal actions play a crucial role in addressing the multitude of threats to our environment and are critical to creating solutions to these threats. Our primary focus is on issues directly affecting the Arlington Community.  Led by our Advocacy Committee, we identify priority issues and organize campaigns to educate residents and engage County officials in seeking solutions that address pressing environmental threats such as climate change and air and water pollution.
