Invasive Plant Removal and Park Cleanup
Sunday,’ February’ 15, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Long Branch Nature Center, 625 S. Carlin Spring Rd., Arlington
EcoAction Arlington will be teaming up with Arlington County’s Remove Invasive Plant Program (RiP) to remove invasives from Long Branch Park, and clean up some trash while we are at it!

Mardi Gras Parade and Special Event Recycling Observation
Tuesday, February 17, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Meet at Fire Works Pizza, 2350 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington
Interested in recycling? Join EcoAction Arlington for a social with a twist. EcoAction Arlington and the Arlington County Solid Waste Bureau are exploring ways to engage interested volunteers in supporting recycling at special events in 2015 and are kicking it off with a social. Please join us at the Clarendon Mardi Gras celebration to:

1) have fun and get to know like-minded volunteers;

2) observe a special event and its recycling; and

3) support a long-term initiative to improve recycling at special events.

Four Mile Run Watershed Cleanup ‘ ‘ ‘ Four Mile Run Cleanup
Saturday, March 14, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
EcoAction Arlington is partnering with the Arlington Park Rangers on this annual cleanup, where volunteers will remove trash and debris from the parks and stream. EcoAction Arlington locations: Shirlington Park and Arlington Mill Community Center.
