Celebrating Our Connection to Water!

EcoAction Arlington’s sixth-annual EcoExtravaganza has a new vibe and venue. Join us at Clare & Don’s Beach Shack on Thursday, April 25, 2024 for a fun beach party during Earth Month. We couldn’t think of a better venue to tie our focus of being stewards of our waterways to our celebration!

Spend a night with your EcoAction Arlington community focusing on how we work together to protect our precious water resources while enjoying the relaxed, fun, and beachy vibe of Clare & Don’s Beach Shack. There will be plenty of opportunities to mingle and mix with community members and environmental leaders. For something hands-on, there will be an art activation to celebrate our connection to our watershed. Get your tickets now! Tickets will also be available at the door.

We will have delicious food served buffet style featuring a vegetarian menu presented by Clare and Don’s. The menu will include tofu tacos, coconut tofu skewers, mini veggie quesadillas, veggie potstickers, flat bread pizza, onion rings and pickle chips. Gluten-free, vegan, and Kosher for Passover options will also be available. All tickets include food and one drink ticket. The attire is casual with a beach chic theme.

Program

The program featured Weyessa McAlister, a dedicated advocate for clean water and community development, currently serving as the Director of Community Conservation at Potomac Conservancy. Virginia Delegate Adele McClure provided closing remarks.
