The Dark White Forest Documentary Film Premier

This is the premiere of The Dark White Forest short documentary film about the life of Melody Starya Mobley. The venue is in Washington DC.
After decades of being silenced, history’s first black female forester fights for her story to be heard in order to stop the cycle of abuse. The film’s goal is to highlight the discrimination and harassment being experienced in the forestry community and to prevent this from happening in the next generation. Donations are needed and appreciated to fund this event and future promotional and event costs.
Melody Starya Mobley invites you to celebrate the premiere of the short documentary The Dark White Forest at the former BET studio located in Washington DC at 1899 St NE, Washington, DC 20018. The event will include a red carpet walk with media, film, survey, Q&A, and a reception with light refreshments.
