Energy Efficiency Forum: Moving Northern VA Forward to Combat Climate Change

September 29, 2014

Energy Efficiency Forum: Moving Northern VA Forward to Combat Climate Change

Wednesday, October 1, 7:00 – 8:45 p.m.
Arlington County Central Library Auditorium
1015 N. Quincy Street, Arlington

Energy efficiency initiatives in energy production, commercial and residential energy usage, transportation, and building codes have already saved hundreds of million dollars. In Virginia, neither our state legislature nor major utilities have supported wholesale programs to move the initiative forward. Despite inaction at the state level, local governments are working to increase local investments in energy efficiency.

Join us on Wednesday, October 1st to find out what is being done and what you can do to help local programs move forward.

Featuring presentations by:

  • Rodney Sobin
Director of Research & Regulatory Affairs, Alliance to Save Energy
  • Garrick Augustus
    Energy Manager, Fairfax County
  • Bill Eger
    Energy Manager, City of Alexandria
  • John Morrill
    Energy Manager, Arlington County

Sponsored by:

  • Sierra Club
