EcoAction Arlington Annual Volunteer Social

The Volunteer Social is an annual EcoAction Arlington signature event that is held in-person at the beginning of the year, usually in January. Start a new year with a new resolution to volunteer for the environment. This is an opportunity to mix and mingle with our staff, board, and volunteers and learn about all the opportunities available to become involved in creating a more sustainable Arlington community. Location Details: This event will be held at the Amazon Visitor Landing space. Please note this is different than the Amazon HQ2 headquarters lobby. Please see the address located above for directions. Enter through the front doors labeled “Amazon Visitor Landing”.

Public Transportation: You are encouraged to take public transportation!! Easy access to/from public transportation is available. The Visitor Landing space is a 7 min walk from the Crystal City Metro or a 9 min walk from the Pentagon City Metro, and there are Metro/Art bus options as well.

Parking: Parking garages are located in the Amazon buildings; 525 14th Street South, Arlington, VA 22202 and 510 14th Street South, Arlington, VA 22202. Entrances to the garages are on South Elm Street and 13th Street. Rates are $6 for 1 hour, $11 for 2 hours, and $21 daily rates. Metered street parking is available on surrounding roads including on S. Elm Street, 15th Street South, and South Eads Street. Metered parking rates are $2.20/hour with max parking timeframes ranging from 2 hours to 4 hours.
