Comments On Environmental Legislative Priorities

EcoAction Arlington in collaboration with Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions Arlington and Sierra Club Potomac River Group offered recommendations for Arlington’s legislative priorities for the 2026 General Assembly session to meet the County’s climate goals. A letter was sent to the Arlington County Board on August 12, 2026.

The Arlington County Board is seeking your input into it’s priorities for the 2027 General Assembly legislative session. The General Assembly will continue to grapple with many issues that impact our environment, health, and general well being. This is your opportunity to let the County know what issues are most important to you, including advancing the transition to clean, affordable renewable energy, cleaner air and water, and a healthier natural environment for Arlington.
