Group And Corporate
Service Projects
We can facilitate your group’s service project so your volunteers can focus on what matters: connecting with each other and improving the local green spaces and waterways.
Make a Difference in Arlington!
Bring your team together to make Arlington greener, cleaner, and more vibrant! Our group service projects connect volunteers with meaningful, hands-on opportunities to care for local green spaces and waterways while building community and a shared sense of purpose.
We’ll help coordinate your service project so your group can focus on what matters: making an impact together.
Ready to Get Involved?
Complete the Service Project Sign-Up Form below, and we’ll be in touch to plan your group’s experience.
Let’s work together to grow a greener Arlington!
A few things to know:
Age requirement: Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Plan ahead: Customized service projects are limited, and demand is especially high in September, October, and April. Early requests are strongly encouraged.
Booking timeline: We typically schedule service projects and group presentations at least two months in advance.
Requested donation: To cover our costs for materials, supplies, staff time, we ask for a suggested donation of $500 to help support our mission as a small local nonprofit. We do not want the requested donation to be a barrier for groups to work with us so, if needed, we can discuss other ways your organization could support our nonprofit needs if the fee is a barrier.

Group Volunteer Opportunities
Storm Drain Marking
Only Rain Down the Storm Drain!
Help protect Arlington’s local waterways! This hands-on project raises awareness about
stormwater pollution and how we can all help keep our waterways clean. Volunteers
apply blue-and-white fish stickers to sidewalks near storm drains to remind the
community that only rain should go down the storm drain.

Tree Canvassing
Free Trees. Greener Communities.
Help grow a greener, cooler Arlington! Join us in spreading the word about our free tree program and encouraging neighbors to plant more trees to increase their neighborhood tree canopy. By connecting residents with Virginia’s native trees, volunteers help expand the tree canopy, increase shade, and reduce heat in neighborhoods that have historically had fewer trees.
