Then 22nd Annual DC Environmental Film Festival is upon us, March 18th to March 30th.
The theme for this years festival is: ‘ Our Cities, Our Planet, which examines the challenges posed by Earth’s urban environments and the efforts of the world’s cities to balance environmental and economic needs. There is sure to be something for everyone, including a variety of films for children as well.
Over 200 films will be shown at 65 different locations throughout the DC area, many of which are free! These insightful films offer a glimpse into not only our country’s environmental challenges, but from 38 other countries around the world. ‘ A focus of this year’s festival includes the Sustainable DC program, which will portrait making Washington DC area the “greenest, healthiest, and most livable city in the nation.”
