Earth Month Challenge Runs Through April 30, 2026
You Have The Power To Protect Our Planet
Your contribution to our Earth Month Challenge between April 1-30 will enable EcoAction Arlington to educate, advocate and act for a sustainable community by improving our natural environment, encouraging environmentally-friendly behaviors, ensuring environmental justice, and addressing the climate crisis.
We’ve secured an Earth Month Challenge Match, which means every dollar donated in April, up to $25,000, will be matched 1:1 – That’s 2X the power to protect our planet!
Every dollar counts whether it’s a one-time or monthly recurring donation, 100% of your donation goes toward caring for our environment. Give now through April 30 and your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar. Become a Monthly Sustainer by April 30 and your first three months will be matched!
For check donations, please make payable and send to: EcoAction Arlington, 3308 S. Stafford Street, Arlington, VA 22206.

SUSTAIN
Thanks to financial support from donors like you, we are able to hold public cleanups throughout the year to help keep trash out of our waterways. Our Earth Day Cleanup was held on Saturday, April 11 at Lubber Run park from 10am-12pm.
Our programs are sustained through donations from supports like you.
CELEBRATE
8th Annual EcoExtravaganza
Our 8th Annual EcoExtravaganza was held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Clare & Don’s Beach Shack in Falls Church. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and the energy was powerful.
As part of the celebration, we honored former Arlington School Board Member Mary Kadera with the 2026 EcoAction Arlington Impact Award. This award recognizes Mary’s leadership for community environmental sustainability and her many contributions to Arlington Public Schools which focused on environmental stewardship and long-term planning.
Through generous contributions via the paddle raise we raised over $18,000. This brings EcoAction Arlington that much closer to meeting our Earth Month Challenge match goal of $25,000. We want to thank all who joined us. It was great to see the community come together to support our environment. We’d like to send a big shout out to all who generously donated and our event sponsors: Amazon, Dominion Energy, and John Andelin and Ginger Geoffrey.
If you missed the event, please consider making an Earth Month gift to support our mission. During our Earth Month Challenge now through April 30, all gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar, and we will match the first three months of donations for all new or increased monthly donors.
EcoExtravaganza
The EcoExtravaganza celebrates our efforts working to make Arlington one of the top sustainable communities in the country and all who make that work possible. All of the proceeds of the EcoExtravaganza go toward the mission of educating, advocating, and acting to create a sustainable community by improving our natural environment, encouraging environmentally-friendly behaviors, ensuring environmental justice, and addressing the climate crisis.
