As a hyper-local, grassroots environmental nonprofit, there is nothing we’d rather do than work with groups in the Arlington Community. There are a number of ways we can connect to impact our environment.
Ways to Volunteer
Volunteering in our local environment brings cohesion and a sense of purpose while also making Arlington a cleaner, greener, and more inviting place to live and work. We can facilitate your group’s service project so your volunteers can focus on what matters: connecting with nature and each other and improving the local green spaces and waterways.
The fee for scheduling a private service project with EcoAction Arlington is $1,500 for up to 30 volunteers for a two-hour event. For groups with more than 30 volunteers, please contact us. To get started, we highly suggest planning 2+ months in advance. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Please complete the service project signup form and we will be in touch.

Join one of our public events
These events are all free and open to the public. We’d love to see you and your friends, family, and colleagues working together on a larger-scale project. Our events require registration and often fill up, so be sure to plan ahead and secure your spot!
Become a member of EcoAction Arlington
All donations of $35 and above give you the gift of becoming a member of EcoAction Arlington. Members receive a variety of perks, invitations to events, and information about upcoming EcoAction Arlington programming.
We’re more than happy to help EcoAction Members plan a DIY cleanup. We can help you secure a location and share some best practices with you. Be sure to tag us on social media so we can share your events too!
