EcoAction Arlington has regular volunteer positions available to support specific programs or campaigns, as described below.

- Event Photographers (September 2022 to June 2023)
- Senior Experience Internships (May and June 2023)

Event Photographers
EcoAction Arlington is seeking photographer(s) to photograph our service and outreach events between September 2022 and June 2023. The photographs will be taken for EcoAction Arlington’s use online including on our website and social media posts and in print media. All positions are unpaid and offer no benefits.
Requirements:
- Experience taking engaging photographs for use in print and online media.
- Ability to work independently.
Time Commitment:
- These positions will require the contribution of approximately 5 to 10 hours per event including photographing the event and organizing and sending digital copies of the photographs.
- Event dates/times vary with most taking place on evenings and weekends.

Senior Experience Internships
EcoAction Arlington is seeking high school seniors to deliver presentations to elementary students about sources of energy and energy conservation through an energy carnival program we have been delivering in Arlington schools since 2018. Training is provided. We are planning to deliver programs in person, and we are able to provide a stipend for transportation if needed. We typically provide programs for 12 to 15 different elementary schools. If needed because of any health and safety guidelines from Arlington County, Virginia or APS, we will conduct these programs virtually.
This position is 30 hours per week and lasts three to four weeks. There is flexibility on internship dates in late May/June.
Qualifications
- Interest in environmental issues.
- Strong organization skills.
- Experience working with kids.
- Ability to conduct multiple tasks.
