Growing a Nature-Connected Community

EcoAction Arlington and Nature Club Kids are partnering to promote our common goal of creating sustainable cities by cultivating earth stewardship in children through nature connection.

Admittance includes two drink tickets for good wine, craft beer & yummy hors d’oeuvres. Ann Marie Douglass will present what kids in Arlington have loved about being part of Nature Club Kids & nuggets of wisdom she has learned from observing kids play with purpose in nature.

This happy hour fundraiser will fuel initiatives around the county such as creating native pollinator gardens, training nature mentors, offering scholarships, increasing tree canopy, and working with children, tweens and teens on sustainability efforts throughout Arlington. Note – if you don’t have childcare, please feel free to bring your kids. We’ll have a small area with nature crafts to keep them busy.

This event will be zero-waste and all emissions will be offset with a donation to support renewable energy.

Location – Barcroft Community House & Garden, 800 S. Buchanan Street, Arlington

Date – Friday, October 4

Time – 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Tickets required. Available online for $20 (through Monday 9/23) or at the door for $25.
